- Review reservation requests. Once your RV is listed in the marketplace, you will start getting reservation requests from potential renters. YOU get to review all of these requests, and work directly with renters to agree on the terms of the rental. You have complete control over the rental process.
- Meet With Renter. Once you’ve come to an agreement, it’s time to meet with the renter. Give them a thorough walkthrough of the RV, and send them on their way!
- Get Paid! RVShare securely collects payment and will direct deposit right into your account.

How To Rent Your RV: Step By Step Walk-Through
Ok, now it’s time to make some money!

Sign Up HERE to start you RV listing.
- Select your type of RV, and input your details (Name and Email) to sign up.
Fill out details
- Once submitted, you will walk through a series of prompts to fill out your profile.
- This includes your RV location, RV value (for insurance purposes), RV Make/Model, and VIN Number
Fill out RV details for listing
- This is where you create your initial listing. This will include all the details of your rental.
- Make sure to include a catching title name (words like “Upgraded” and “Unique” work well), and highlight anything that makes your RV stand out!
Set your Price!
- The great part is that based on your RV Value / Make / Model, RVShare will automatically fill in suggested pricing to get your started.
- If you want to fill this in yourself, you can rill in the day / weekly / monthly prices, minimum trip length, security deposit, tax rate, generator charges, and cancellation policy
Add photos
- Now you can add photos of your RV that is for rent. Make sure to get lots of picture.
- Exterior, interior, and shots of each room will help people see the value and layout of your RV. In fact, upload a layout picture of your model if possible.
Complete Profile and Publish Your Listing!
- The last step is to complete a quick “about the owner” section, and the PUBLISH your listing!
What To Do After Your RV Is Listed
Turn On Notifications
- Once your RV is LIVE, you want to know when people want to rent it. Make sure to turn on any notifications to make sure you know all activity with your rental listing.
- On your RV Dashboard, simply go to “Account > Notifications” to edit your preferences.
Respond To Renter Requests Quickly
- Getting your RV rented quickly means giving great customer service. And responding to any Rental Requests quickly is the best way to do this.
- Inside your RVShare Dashboard, you check for new messages or reservations. I recommend responding within a few hours for best results. This builds renter confidence, and gets your RV rented quicker!
- Please note: “New Reservation Requests” expire within 24 hours. Don’t worry, you can still reach back out and manually send them a final quote.
Fill Out Your Payment details!
- You want to get paid, right? Don’t forget to go to the “Payments” section of your dashboard and input your Direct Deposit information.
What To Do After Booking Is Completed
Contact Renters Prior to Rental Date.
- Email renters at least 1 week ahead of time to check in, and answers any last-minute questions.
Make sure your RV is ready to go.
- Remove any personal belongings you don’t want in there during the rental period. This may include family pictures, clothes, or household items you don’t want others to use.
- Test everything is functioning ahead of time. If needed, take your RV to a mechanic to had it tested and looked over to make sure everything is in working order.
- You don’t want your customers dealing with broken appliances or other RV issues during their vacation!
Day of rental, meet with owners, and walk through how to use the RV.
- Driving, appliances, slides, awning, bathroom, etc.
- Use “Departure Form” checklist to make sure you cover all training needed and note any existing damage on RV.
- Ask about their trip to see if there is anything special they need to know about using the RV.
Get Paid.
- Payments come through on the first business day AFTER the start of the rental.
